Colchester Fibre has completed works to install comprehensive CCTV to the Butt Road carpark, one of Colchester City Council’s public carparks located to the south of the city centre. Colchester Fibre works closely with the Council’s CCTV operation, maintaining and operating the underlying infrastructure providing connectivity to almost 450 cameras. In 2020-21, Colchester Fibre led a major project to fully digitalise the CCTV service and to build a new operations centre, providing 24/7/365 coverage as well as the integrated links with Essex Police.
